Things you Always Wanted to Know About Me.

This is a piece that I pinched from "Kari" over at "I struggle and Emerge."

Welcome to the 2008 edition of getting to know your friends.
What you are supposed to do is change all the answers so they apply to you, and then post it on your own blog. The theory is that you will learn a lot of little things about your friends which you might not have known!

1. What time did you get up this morning?

5:25 am lured by the strains of Mario sons in chorus at 50 decibels a piece.

2. Diamonds or pearls?

I hate both the Diamond and the Pearl Versions of Pokemon.

3. What was the last film you saw?

At the cinema or at home?

In the movie theatre [see I can talk American!] we saw "Mr. Bean's Holiday." We were our own personal riot.

At home we watched "The Simpsons the Movie."

5. What do you usually have for breakfast?

Neat, black crunchy coffee, several vats worth please.

6. Favorite Food?

Marmite on toast, but I can't do the toast at the moment. Anchovies are nice and soft.

7. What food do you dislike?

Awful offal. Ooo and pot noodles

8. What is your Favorite CD at the moment?

Eternal Father Strong to Save, errily provocative.

9. What kind of car do you drive?

A sludge coloured Honda Oddessy - oh for a pillar box red car, any car.

10. Favorite sandwich?

Egg, tomatoe and cress, with lots of freshly ground black pepper.

11. What characteristics do you despise?

Despise? That's a bit strong! Mildly irritated in the great scheme of things, might be more apt........er......hypocrisy would be fairly high on the list.

13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?

Anywhere that doesn't involve travel. I need Harry Potter's transporter and then I'd be happy to go to Australia first.

14. Favorite brand of clothing?

Thrift or if I'm really pushed then the Salvation Army.

15. Where would you retire?

You mean the place? At the sea side, a warm sea side where I could swim without a wetsuit and it must have waves as I like to surf, badly.

16. What was your most recent memorable birthday?

Er none, which must mean that they have all been spiffing.

17. Favorite sport to watch?

Snail racing.

18. Furthest place you are sending this?

Je ne comprend pas?

19. Who do you least expect to do this?

?

20. Person you expect to post it first?

? I suspect this originated in another form such as an email round robin.

21. Favorite saying?

I have hundreds of sayings and I hate them all.

22. When is your birthday?

August 2nd.

23. Are you a morning person?

No.

24. Pets?

3 Hermit crabs and two cats.

25. Any new and exciting news you’d like to share with us?

I am awake.

26. What did you want to be when you were little?

I was never little, but I was younger, once. When I was young I wanted to be a chimney sweep.

28. What is your Favorite candy?

Fry's Chocolate Cream, but you need to change the 'is' to a 'was.' Now I have a candy free existence.

29. What is your Favorite flower?

Pelargoniums.

30. What are you listening to right now?

Silence - how else do you think I would be able to do this?

Please feel free to steal this just like I did, but let me know if you manage it and then I can come and peek.

My "Other Life" continues.

Great meme. Mr Bean's holiday was great. I like movies the kids and I can watch together without me having to worry about content.

*thinks it's something like a "portkey" not a transporter and thinks SOMEbody needs a little rock n roll*

The funny answers were- funny! But not answers...if you know what I mean! Being somewhere else without the hassle of traveling would be a neat trick...

I want that transporter thing too. Being at your destination is fun, but traveling to and from sucks.

Fun answers... though dare I mention that to do American, one should first reverse the last two letters in theatre?

You'd love Australia (yes, I'm a tad biased!!)
My brother keeps suggesting we make a trip to visit him in Belgium... I think I'd need a Harry Potter transporter for that too (especially with the kids in tow... I shudder at the thought from here in Aus).
